  • Cooking spray, 1 two-second spray(s)
  • Sugar, 1 cup(s)
  • All purpose flour, ¾ cup(s)
  • Cocoa powder, ⅓ cup(s), unsweetened
  • Baking powder, ½ tsp(s)
  • Salt, ¼ tsp(s)
  • Unsalted butter, 2 tbsp(s)
  • Low-fat vanilla Greek yogurt, 2 tbsp(s)
  • Eggs, 1 large
  • Vanilla extract, 2 tsp(s)
  • Mini chocolate chips, ¼ cup(s) mini chips, semi-sweet recommended

Method

Preheat oven to 350 F and lightly coat an 8x8-inch pan with cooking spray.

In a medium bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

Place the butter in a small saucepan and melt at medium-high heat. In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, egg and vanilla. Add the melted butter and mix.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well. The brownie batter will be stiff. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Top with the chocolate chips.

Bake 15-20 minutes or until the brownies slightly puff up. Let cool and cut into 12 pieces.
