Espresso banana shake

A creamy and delicious shake that's the perfect afternoon pick-me-up!

  • Banana, ½ large, peeled, frozen
  • 1% milk, 1 cup(s)
  • Vanilla ice cream, light, no sugar added, ½ cup(s), 1 scoop
  • Espresso, 1 fl oz, single shot, chilled
  • Dark chocolate, 1 square(s), finely grated

Method

Roughly chop the banana and place into blender or food processor with the milk and ice cream. Blend until smooth.

Pour into a chilled glass, pour over the espresso. Top with chocolate, stir and serve.

TIP: During the hot summer months, make espresso and pour into ice cube trays and freeze. Blend the frozen espresso with the shake.
