These kebabs work well with any type of fruit, including more exotic types such as star fruit, kumquats or prickly pears. To prevent fruit from browning, dip in pineapple or orange juice.

  • Non-fat plain Greek yogurt, 6 oz(s)
  • Lime, ½ lime(s), juice and zest
  • Pineapple, chunks, ¼ cup(s), 4 x pineapple chunks about 0.5-inches each
  • Strawberries, 4 medium
  • Kiwi, 1 fruit(s) (2" dia), peeled and quartered
  • Banana, ½ medium, cut into 4 x 1/2-inch chunks
  • Red grapes, 4 grape(s)

Method

In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, 1 teaspoon of lime juice and 1 teaspoon of lime zest. Cover and refrigerate until needed.

Using four wooden skewers, thread 1 of each fruit onto one wooden skewer. Repeat with the three other skewers until the fruit is gone. Serve with the lime dip.
